Spinning Up Spotplex

As featured yesterday on TechCrunch, Spotplex is a new (beta) service aimed at automatically promoting popular news. Michael Arrington makes the inevitable comparison to Digg, which promotes content based on user recommendations. TechMeme, of course, accomplishes the same by promoting content linked to by A-listers and industry insiders.
