High-Tech Hidden Cameras

April 13th, 2007 by Mark Woodman

Surveillance cameras in places like banks and grocery stores are really obvious, so we’re all used to being on camera in many venues. It is probably time to realize you might be on camera a lot more than you think.

Right out of a spy movie, check out these household items from spytechs.com:

Ayep, there’s a hidden camera in each of them. Even better, they each use a 2.4 gigahertz wireless transmitter to broadcast the camera signal to a receiver. Older-generation cameras were typically wired, making the installation impractical for most situations. Each of these wireless cameras come with a receiver that you hook up to a VCR or PC tuner card.

Note that the “book” camera is disguised as a “Student Dictionary.” (Pretty much a guarantee nobody will ever pick it up.) Just when you thought it was safe to pick your nose in private.
